The Chappelle Show is just too funny. Too bad I have missed a lot of it. I still haven't seen Daredevil. May not get around to it until it's out on ppv. I need more lazy bum friends to go see it with. I have been reading Joe Bob Briggs web page for the past couple days for some reason or other. His Joe Bob's America columns are interesting/funny. Apparently Cartoon Network said they were gonna show those two NG Eva episodes uncut and commercial free but lied. I didn't watch it to find out. I have the first 8 episodes of Eva and personally find it pretty boring. I can't wait for Trigun since I've only see 3 eps of it. I have a lot of Kenshin so I am mainly wanting to see it to check out the dub and get the episodes I don't have already. I haven't watched any of Reign just because I hate the way the characters are drawn. It irritated me in Aeon Flux as well. I checked out numerous books the other week and some of them were decent. Lullaby, Invisible Monsters, and some other book by Chuck Palahniuk(sp?) that I forgot the name of already even though it was good. His books are quite strange. He is the guy who wrote Fight Club, if you didn't know. I also read Blackwood Farm by Anne Rice. I wasn't sure if I would enjoy it since the past couple of books I've read by her seem more like bad fanfiction. It was ok though. It's just irritating that all her characters tend to be rich and fall madly in love with people they meet after 10 seconds of knowing them. I am interested in reading the Lestat book that is apparently coming out sometime. I still haven't read my Phillip Pullman Dark Materials series. I dunno why. I just can't make myself do it. I read maybe 30 pages of the first book then haven't touched it since. I just need a new Harry Potter book to read!! July is a long time away. I also need to re-read LOtR since I actually own the books now. It's hard to tear myself away from the computer nowadays to read "real" books. I read tons of fanfiction, messages, essays, books, etc online though. I also need to get Xenosaga eventually.

It's been a long time since I updated. Seen lots of movies, played lots of games. Xenosaga in a couple days! Still need to see Daredevil. Can't wait for X-men 2. Kenshin and Trigun on Cartoon Network next month. Woo!

Sunday, August 11, 2002 - 06:02 p.m.

Well, I finally got to play Dance Dance Revolution on playstation. It's fun and difficult, for me anyway. The guy who brought the games over had me playing more advanced stuff and I barely knew how to play hehe. Sometime in the next couple weeks, I am gonna get my psx mod-chipped and I will go crazy playing DDR mix 5 (or whatever it's called :) He had a few more versions, plus Bust A Move/Groove 2. I will overdose on dancing games. I also watched a few episodes of Excel Saga. It was hilarious. Wish I could watch more of it. Saw Austin Powers 3 (silly), Signs (good), and XXX (bleh) recently.
